Lead qualification agent
Asks the questions your best salesperson would ask, scores the lead and routes hot leads to your team.
Lead AutomationAn AI agent is software that uses a large language model to understand a goal, decide the next step and take action through your tools — for example, reading a new enquiry, asking the right follow-up questions on WhatsApp, scoring the lead and updating your CRM. AVP Tech Solution builds custom AI agents for sales, support and operations teams in India.
A regular automation follows a fixed path. An AI agent is given a goal, a set of tools and a set of rules, and works out which tool to use next. Under the hood it is a language model connected to “tools” such as search the knowledge base, check the CRM, send a WhatsApp message or create a task.
That makes agents useful for work that needs a little judgement but follows a pattern: qualifying a lead from a free-text message, answering a question and then booking a call, or reading an order request and creating the right records.
Good business agents are deliberately narrow. Each one has a clear job, a limited set of actions, and a rule for when to stop and pass the conversation to a person.
People often use the words interchangeably, but they solve different problems.
| Chatbot | AI agent | |
|---|---|---|
| Main job | Answer questions in a conversation | Complete a task or reach a goal |
| Takes actions | Rarely, or only fixed ones | Yes — updates CRM, sends messages, books calls, creates records |
| Decides next step | Follows a script or answers from content | Chooses which tool to use based on the situation |
| Works without a chat | No | Yes — can run on new leads, emails or schedules |
| Best for | FAQs and simple support | Qualification, follow-ups, triage, multi-step workflows |
Many projects use both: an AI chatbot as the front door, and agents doing the work behind it.

Lead AutomationFollows up with leads who went quiet, using context from earlier conversations, until they reply or opt out.
Sales AutomationAnswers routine questions, collects order or account details, and escalates the rest with a summary.
Customer Support AutomationFinds answers in your documents, SOPs and catalogues and cites where the answer came from.
RAG Knowledge-Base ChatbotsReads incoming emails or forms, extracts the data and creates records, invoices or tasks.
Business Process AutomationPulls numbers from your tools and sends a plain-language daily or weekly summary to WhatsApp or email.
Example: an agent qualifying a property enquiry that arrives on WhatsApp.
The enquiry arrives through the WhatsApp Business API and triggers the agent.
The agent checks the CRM: is this a new or returning contact? Which project did they ask about?
It asks for the missing details — budget, location, timeline — in a natural, polite way.
It scores the lead, updates the CRM record, and books a site visit or assigns a salesperson.
If the person asks something outside its rules, it passes the chat to a human with a short summary.
An agent that acts on your behalf needs firm boundaries. Every agent we build includes:
We agree what the agent should achieve, what it may do, and when it must hand over.
We collect your FAQs, scripts, product details and policies into an approved knowledge source.
We build the agent logic, usually orchestrated in n8n, and connect WhatsApp, email and your CRM.
We run past enquiries through the agent and fix anything it gets wrong.
We go live, review conversations in the first weeks, and refine prompts and rules.
AI agents are quoted per project after a free consultation, because the effort depends on the number of channels, integrations and rules involved. A single-channel agent with one integration is a much smaller project than an agent that works across WhatsApp, email and a CRM.
Running costs are separate and paid to the providers: AI model usage (charged per use), WhatsApp message charges from Meta if WhatsApp is involved, and hosting for the workflow engine. We estimate these with you before the build so there are no surprises.
An AI agent is a program that uses an AI language model to understand a goal and then take actions through your software to reach it — for example, replying to a lead, asking qualifying questions, and updating your CRM — instead of only answering questions.
A chatbot mainly answers questions in a conversation. An AI agent works towards a goal and can take actions in other tools, such as updating records, booking meetings or sending follow-ups, and it can work on triggers like new leads even when nobody is chatting.
Yes. We connect agents to the official WhatsApp Business API so they can reply to messages, ask follow-up questions and send approved templates, with a human handover whenever needed.
Any AI system can occasionally misunderstand a message. We reduce this by limiting what the agent can do, grounding answers in your approved content, adding confidence checks, and handing uncertain conversations to your team.
A production-ready agent with its integrations usually takes 2–3 weeks, including testing with real examples. A simple proof of concept can be ready sooner.
We recommend it, so that you own the account, the usage data and the billing. We help you set it up and keep the API keys stored securely in the workflow engine.
Describe the job you want done. We will tell you honestly whether an agent is the right tool, and what it would take to build it.
